World Photography Awards

The World Photography Organisation delivers various initiatives and programmes across the global photographic community under the "World Photography" brand. These programmes involve the amateur and professional photographer in commercial, cultural and educational activities within the photographic industry.

Current programmes include the Sony World Photography Awards, proudly sponsored by Sony; the Student Focus Programme; the World Photography Festival, the World Photography Collection and the Focus Award.

Judged by the World Photography Academy, the Sony World Photography Awards' mission is to discover talent across many diverse fields of photography and to unveil captivating stories photographed by people around the globe. We aim to support photographers beyond just receiving their award; once discovered, winners gain unparalleled exposure and promotion through our annual marketing campaign, publication across international media, global exhibitions, publication inside the annual Sony World Photography Awards book and are featured across the WPO website.
