A few days ago we received a notice from a photographer drawing our attention to a photography competition organised by the United Kingdom Natural History Museum (NHM) as part of the Open Air Laboratories (OPAL) partnership project. The competition is asking the public to send in weather related photographs to a project which is supported by public money (£11.75 million) granted through the UK Big Lottery Fund. In addition the OPAL project is actually comprised of seventeen separate publicly funded bodies, one of which is the Natural History Museum in London.

Royal Wedding Rights Grab - News Flash
On 14 April we published a story concerning The Royal Wedding Album. The Royal Wedding Album project, created by Benjamin Daniel Pankhurst, MD of Group Charlescannon located at 6 route des Creux, Verbier Switzerland, asks the public to send in photographs they have taken in connection with the wedding of Kate and Wills. Events have moved on since that story and we put together some more information about who is backing the rights grab.

This event is expected to significantly boost the UK economy and many entrepeneurs are trying to make hay while the sun shines.
