The Artists Bill of Rights is pleased to announce the opening of the 2020 Scotish Nature Photography Awards, a longtime supporter of our principles for fair competitions.

The Scottish Nature Photography Awards celebrate nature, wildlife and landscape photography in Scotland.
 
The Scottish Nature Photography Awards Photographic Competition 2020 is open to professional and amateur photographers from around the world, but images must be taken in Scotland.
 

Entries close 24:00 hours GMT on 30th November 2020.
 
This is the 11th annual competition to seek the Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year. The categories are:
 
Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2020
 
Environmental
Natural Abstract
Scottish Botanical
Scottish Landscape - The Land
Scottish Landscape - Sea & Coast
Scottish Landscape - Urban Greenspace
Scottish Wildlife Behaviour
Scottish Wildlife Portrait
 
Junior Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2020 (open to under-18s). Up to 5 images on any Scottish nature subject.
 
Student Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year 2020 (for full or part-time students over-18 undertaking a photography element in their course). Portfolio of 3 images on the theme of 'Natural Light'.

Scottish Nature Video Award 2020 for short films on a nature, wildlife or landscape theme made in Scotland by professional or amateur filmmakers.

Charlie Phillips - Wildlife photographer

Winning images and videos will be featured in a Touring Exhibition in 2021. Winning and shortlisted images and videos will be featured in the Portfolio Yearbook 2020.
